Through all the ups and downs and considerations we have had to make with School funding, homelessness, Food Justice, and Enviornmental Justice the most common characteristic I can link to all 4 of these topics to is why is California being affected the most?...
With school funding California is the only state in the U.S who has the worst educaional system.No one in Califronia is all on the same page, R ich people who have no kids don't worry about the middle class families working, that have children in the public school systems. All the Rich people care about is not paying extra money on property taxes, and caring about the little things in life rather than the up incoming future, which weill be the new doctors, igineers, and lawyers. Homelesness is now a trend throughout the U.S.. Some homeless people are young who ran away from abused homes, who feel that the street is more safer than the place they live in, but most are people who have no way of having anything who feel that the government does'nt care anything about them. The Food Justice has to deal with the state and government targeting poor income communities. Thier way of making African Americans and the people in the minority seem like they don't hav anything by placing liqour stores in the community in place for grocery stores o rmarkets that are healthy instead of liqour that will just amke th epoor communities even more poor. With Environmental Justic I think it has to deal ith the sam ething that I just mentioned for the Food Justice, that certain places target diverse communities thathave no say in whta they want their community to be. Chevron made a plant i North Richmond where it's mostly people in the minority. Most people in Richmond California have asthma which is a critical breathing condition, and they also have been diagnosed with cancer.
My personal observations of Richmond are the trees, the and the water. The trees and hills have changed colors from green to an unsual ash brown that's golden. The wate r is a gasy type of water that is bad for peoples health.ALL THESE TOPICS LINK TO BI G CORPORATIONS PUTTING THEIR BUSSINESSES IN POOR DIVERSE COMMUNITIES.!
S.B 1070 is about the new Arizona law. I think that they should not paass tis law, because we don't have good enough education systems as it is, so how do we hav enough resouirces to work with other people who don't have anything?
One thing America should consider is combining mexico with America so that they could have enough resources and we hav ethe money to support everyone.
