Apparently a school-funding adequacy has file a lawsuit against the state of California. This method has been successful before, but they lawsuit is asking for more than funding. The lawsuit is asking for “a rational system of school funding that is aligned with goals for student achievement”. This seems reasonable since most students aren’t taking school seriously. Many students I expect to do badly in school no matter the amount of funding that school receives, that is, that the state of California has to enforce the standards that they proclaim, and they have to ensure that the students are actually learning the material that teachers are teaching.
Many people in California want to go back to the way things were before, but this is not the way it should be. The bets schools in California during the golden era were not for “equal education”. Even though the schools were some of the best around, many people of color, minorities, or low-income families didn’t have access to this great education.
What we should do is fulfill the statements and ideas of “equal education” and give every body the chance to get the best education possible. But also, not give students “equal education” like Measure S, where funding was cut from schools in high property values. What I mean in to increase the funding for all schools and give every student the best education we can give them.
Many people say that they don’t want to pay higher taxes, but this is necessary for the best funding possible. Though the funding should not be based on local property taxes. But the funding should be on property taxes, however distributed evenly among all the schools in California. This may make people with high property values reconsider, but don’t you want the most educated people available to be taking care of California? Of course we do. That is the whole reason that we should be improving the funding for schools in California.

I agree with this post, because Clifornia schools need more funding. Eventhough the kids that go o these schools may not be appreciative of the money they still need the education to back it up.I don't agreee with the people that claim they don't havve to worry about the kids that adare growing up , and since I dot' have kids I don't need to worry. they are totall ywrong ! All the kids that are growing up now are the future , and will be the next doctors, egineers, and lawyers.

What can teachers teach in schools to ensure that students become informed community members when they graduate from college?
